  A Weekend of Fun and a Wedding

  And so, there goes my weekend again with another wedding.

  It was supposedly a 3-day weekend for me considering that May 1 is supposedly a holiday last Friday; and a legal one to be exact, mind you, wherein workers aren't supposed to work. And supposedly workers did work, these supposed workers should be compensated double for the day. Or, since it's Labor Day, all the supposed labor you'll render for the day should be OFF instead. However, all these suppositions did not materialize. The workaholic me made me come to work and extend the day as a matter of fact. All for the glory of help and team bonding to me fellas!  So, don't consider this as a whining act from me.

  

  This caused me to be sickly that day though haha. The lack of sleep made me almost ill as I attended the much-awaited Nidoy-Escolar Nuptials that day. Er ... I know I'm the host yet I came in late. I slept for like an hour and then woke up, prepared, rushed in traffic, and made it in the reception mid-way to closing! Top that! Good thing my partner, Pingo was kind-hearted enough to cover for me while I was still on my way.

  

  The reception was held at our famous Manila Hotel. I wasn't able to eat and taste all of 'em on the menu since I already ran late so I only settled for some pasta and water and went straight to the podium. Sheesh!

  

  I'm very happy for mah gurl, April for finally exchanging vows with Edward. T'was like 8 or 9 years for them already. I was laughing on the back-end when Ed shared his message at the closing part that the early 2 years of their relationship was unofficial haha! And April's dad had no idea about it. I guess I was guilty that time coz I was covering for her. Eeeep! There were times we had to sneak out for her to meet her prince at the mall. Hahaha! Highschool days huh? But I'm happy they ended on each other's arms then. A dream come true for this happy couple.  My hosting did not end on the program though. I felt I had to continue Pril's favor on her video coverage so I also took charge of being her VJ hehe. I did roam around and asked her guests for some messages. Happy thoughts for happy couples! Woot!

  Our adventure did not end there too. Our friends, sparing the honeymoon-ers, went straight to White Avenue, a local bar. Cam-whoring time lah! I don't really drink so I opted for fruit juice and iced tea hehe. That day lasted me over 24 hours with just an hour of sleep. Coming from work that labor day plus all these festivities? Lah! I was soooo tired.

  

  I was sooo darn tired and slept for like 6 hours and then headed for my next event. This time, I met with my Bravestory: New Traveler cosplay group. T'was our first meeting to talk about costume status, help, skit suggestions, group debut, and some bonding activities. I am leading this group and I have to say all members were cooperative. Too bad we're missing one dear friend of mine in the group, Naoko Chan. She's off for her Singapore Cosplay Summit or another cosplay stuff to attend to, if I'm not mistaken, aside from her usual vacation. It's been planned since last year so she's excused hehe. I wish her all the best! All my support for this wonderful girl!  Can't stop her from coming back to her hometown anyway hehe. Gonna miss yah gurl! Bring home some photos!

  After like an hour or two of discussion, we went to Timezone and played all the way ... Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion. I don't have practice anymore plus, I only play it on PSP (Dark Resurrection) so I had to idea how to control the characters on arcade. I lost many times to these Tekken addicts from the group hehe!

  

  Anyway, it's all for the fun of it! Before we all went home, we treated ourselves out for some cold ice cream! Yum yum! Tired but all energized! Pumped up to debut the group!
