    Cosplay Mania 2008 with Chai as Lili from Tekken

    And yet another Cosplay event happened! Woot!

    Remember my post http://weblog.xanga.com/chenmeicai/654558429/cosplay-time.html? And I was so interested in joining one. Finally, I joined 2 hehe.

    Last Sunday, October 12, at the same venue, the biggest event ever to happen in the Philippines which is primarily catered to cosplay, the event we've all been waiting for has finally commenced. Yup! I'm talking about Cosplaymania 2008 or simply, Cosmania 08. Here's the official poster that the organizers released:

    I joined to relieve my office stress and all. I had about a month's preparation for this. I originally planned to have Lili as the first character that I will cosplay as but the event prior namely Anicon 2008 gave me the idea to strut my stuff first and test the waters if I can do the thing called "catwalk." Luckily, I had the confidence and in 2-days time, I joined as Misa Amane the other Sunday, October 5.

    This time, my Lili costume has been finished. Hooray! Tekken is the first game I played in PSP, Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection to be exact. Lili's my character 'til I went on gaining the Divine Fist title hehe. I so loved her character and so I decided to dress up like her. And this event came in ... I decided to go lah!

    As I did my catwalk thingie. 10-Hit-Combo 1 without the Reverse Divine Step move though (coz I'll just break my spine more if I do haha and I don't know how to do it and jump in the air), plus Tempest, plus Heliotope, plus Shattered Crown, and lastly, Kiss of Devotion.     Here you see a tired Lili who got her face smashed! LOL! :p And that's my younger sister over there who gave me her full support! Yay! Thanks a lot sis! Luv yah!

    My sister also recorded my stint on stage with all the peeps and fanboys around lookin' at what's beneath and swooning hehe! Sorry but I prefer skimpy shorts so you see nothing else under my skirt. LOL. Eeeep! Don't laugh! I had some bloopers here coz I started even while the host was introducing me hehe. Here!     More bloopers? Here ... some more scenes that my sis recorded on vid. The Paul Phoenix cosplayer said he doesn't memorize Paul's moves so he's just trying his best hehe.

    Paul defeated Lili with a "Right Punch." Lili reacted with her high-pitched "Eeeep!"

    That's so awesome!  You're awesome (but you already know that *smile*)!  I wish I could have been there.  I always wondered what character would suit me if I ever cosplayed...  ah, the endless possibilities.  I want to dress up too!  Let's team up WOOT!

    That looks like soo much fun! You look great! Tekken is such a fun game. One of my greatest moment is when I went to an arcade with a bunch of guys and I beat them all at Tekken. Muhahaha.

    hola soy de argentina , hablo español y si quieres puedes traducir mi comentario en babbel fish , me gusta tu actitud , es divertida , con ganas es el espiritu de cosplay , yo voy a hacer uno , y mis amigos dicen que voy a superar a la mayoria por que soy parecida de cara tengo cabello rubio en corte de ella y ojos celestes , tengo la coleccion de los trajes , pero realmente yo les digo :
    _ chicos , no quiero superar a nadie , por que soy una persona , y cosplay es difrasarte para divertirte , el resto es cuetion de parecido , de ahi puedes sacar hasta la fama !
    Eres muy famosa , y muy divertida , tengo demaciados videos tuyo agregados a favoritos en youtube , soy como una especie de fan de cosplays de lili o mas bien tekken.

    @AguzzRocchee - Muchas gracias mi amigo! Mio español es muy malo porque mio sujeto en la escuela con la universidad ha alcanzado el nivel 2 solo. Hehe. 2 terminos. Aunque mi madre es la mitad de español, y mio universidad es una en regimen español, yo no proseguir estudios en el idioma español. Haha ... thanks a lot! (^_^)

    Otherwise!, When you come out about the suit? (Jaja, have beautiful
    eyes, colored water, is espactacular, I have blue eyes, but they seem
    green!, XD!), In which desert is the best eh seen throughout the
    internet! : D ahh! , There should not be a superstar, but among my
    friends here are what MAXIMO! ^ ^, Bueno me voy! , Cuidate n.n(jaja sorry , my inglish is also little loose :P)
